Parkinson's? What Parkinson's? - Penny West

Penny studied Fine Arts at Curtin University, where she also taught Life Drawing during her final (honours) year.

After a lifetime spent in the publishing and software industries, while sailing around Southeast Asia, she decided she needed a retirement hobby. She chose, painting! It turns out to be the most effective way she’s found to cope with Parkinson’s disease too as it helps her to stay happy and keep stress to a minimum.

Many people take art therapy very seriously. Penny uses it primarily as a strategic method of avoiding housework.

Exhibition opening Saturday 22nd August.

Apéro Dînatoire

Apéro is the French tradition of enjoying drinks and something delicious with friends before dinner. Apéro Dînatoire takes things a little further, with a selection of more substantial dishes designed to be shared and savoured.

Settle in for an afternoon of drinks and sharing something delicious with friends from our special ApĂ©ro DĂ®natoire menu. Check socials and the booking page – we will announce the next ApĂ©ro DĂ®natoire date soon.

Do you have a group of 12 or more with something to celebrate? Get in touch and we may be able to open between 3pm and 5pm especially for you (depending on availability)!
